John Stuparitz, DDS, MS

Dr. John E. Stuparitz was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. He graduated from University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana where he double majored receiving two degrees in Biology and Chemistry. After graduating from University of Illinois he attended Marquette University where he received his DDS. Dr. Stuparitz then became a Naval Officer and was awarded acceptance  into the highly prestigious GPR (General Practice Residency) program a full year of extensive training in emergency and higher level of accreditation at the Oakland Naval Hospital. After successfully completing the GPR, he and his family moved to a naval base in Sardinia, Italy where he led his team who was routinely voted as the best clinic in the entire European theater by patients and peers. Dr Stuparitz returned to the Great Lakes Naval Base where he completed a year of Advanced Endodontic Microsurgeries (ACP) and taught at Northwestern Dental School. After nine years in the Navy, Dr John Stuparitz continued his post graduate education at Northwestern University graduating top in his graduating class with a Masters in Endodontics in 1995.

Dr Stuparitz incorporates his high degree of skill with the use an endodontic microscope into his practice full time and was a pioneer in incorporation the microscope with all types of endodontic diagnosis and treatment in Illinois.

Jennifer Smith, DDS, MS

Endodontist

Originally from Washington State, Dr. Jennifer Smith received her undergraduate degree in Biology from the University of Texas San Antonio. She received her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio in 2005 and was commissioned as an Officer in the United States Navy that same year. Dr. Smith completed a one year Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at Naval Medical Center San Diego. She completed a two-year tour as Department Head aboard the USS COMSTOCK where she deployed to the Persian Gulf in support of the United States Marine Corps. Returning from sea duty she continued her service at the Marine Corps Recruit Depot in San Diego and it was during this tour that Dr. Smith fell in love with the specialty of Endodontics. She completed a residency in Endodontics at the Naval Postgraduate Dental School, Bethesda, Maryland, graduating in 2013. She served as a staff endodontist at the Naval Training Center at Great Lakes, as the Director of Dental Services at the Naval Health Clinic at Whidbey Island Air Station, and has recently returned to the Midwest to once again support the recruits at Naval Training Center, Great Lakes.

Dr. Smith enjoys all aspects of advanced endodontics and stays up to date with the latest technology and techniques for the highest standard of care. She is a Diplomat of the American Board of Endodontics and her professional memberships include:

-Kenosha Dental Society

During her free time, Dr. Smith enjoys traveling, baking, and all things equestrian. She and her husband, Steve, feel blessed to love: one adult daughter (Hannah), two adorable spaniels (Benny and Jed), and one lovely retired racehorse (Abe). They all are excited to be back in the area and, once again, serving this great community.
